This bridge event webinar, “Supporting Hispanic Students Preparing for STEM Careers,” was hosted by the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Southwest on September 24, 2015. The webinar presents research on factors that influence Hispanic students’ success in attaining science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) degrees, as well as strategies to support Hispanic students in preparing for college in STEM disciplines. The webinar is in four parts. Part 4 of 4 is the Question-and-Answer Session, facilitated by Haidee Williams, a research alliance liaison with the REL Southwest. Responses to questions are provided by Dr. Amaury Nora of the University of Texas at San Antonio, as well as Giovanni Ferrigno, Dann Garcia, and Dr. Mary Alice Reyes of Texas Valley Communities Foundation.
