UW International Research: Josh Taboga presents “Will Germans Give Up Their Mercedes? Freiburg’s Green Transportation Model.”
Josh Taboga, a recent MA in International Studies and Environment and Natural Resources, from University of Wyoming, presents his international field research " Will Germans Give Up Their Mercedes? Freiburg’s Green Transportation Model " as part of the “What in the World” educational series.
Taboga’s research explores the concept of car-free districts in car-dominated societies, using Freiburg, Germany as a case. Through his research, Taboga reveals the critical importance of citizen participation in city politics.

The Center for Global Studies (CGS) advances the University of Wyoming to the next level of excellence in internationally focused research to find solutions to complex global problems. The Center’s interdisciplinary, collaborative research approach provides a model by which to address problem-oriented research across the University of Wyoming.
