On February 19, 2014, Guy Nordenson, principal of the New York firm Guy Nordenson and Associates, gave a survey of his work from the beginning of his practice in 1987 to the present, with a particular emphasis on current work. Recognized for his independent research and innovative, collaborative work with architects, Nordenson has served as structural engineer for over one hundred projects worldwide, such as the Jubilee Church in Rome, the Simmons Residence Hall at MIT, the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.

Here Nordenson presents a number of past projects, including the North Carolina Museum of Art, the Santa Fe Opera, the Menil Collection's Byzantine Fresco Chapel, and the Jubilee Church. See excerpts from his lecture, including more in depth coverage of work currently underway or recently completed such as the Kimbell Art Museum and the Corning Museum of Glass expansions.
