Eric Hu
April 20th, 2015
Visiting Designer Lecture #10

Eric’s work has been described to be “heavily motivated by research into the nature of graphic design itself, exploring the means of standardized production[…] within digital technologies and print-based contexts” (It’s Nice That). Eric Hu’s design and writing is a reflection of his media-sensitive, culturally-engaged practice. You can find Eric at; on where he answers various questions from ‘anonymous persons’; and as Twitter virtuoso @_erichu.

Eric Hu is a partner at Nothing in Common working in branding, interaction design and illustration. He previously worked as the design lead at OKFocus working for clients such as Nike, the Wolfsonian Museum, Phillips, Tumblr and Atlantic Records as well as in-house projects such as Newmoticons. Eric is an adjunct faculty member at Parsons The New School for Design, his work has been exhibited in the ADC Gallery and the Museum of Art and Design.
